How it works
How missed call text back works for HVAC companies.
When your crew is on a job and nobody picks up, the caller gets a text back, you get an alert, and a follow up keeps going until the job books. Here is each step, in plain terms.
Step 1
Call missed
Your crew is on a job and nobody picks up.
Step 2
Text goes out
The caller gets a text back within seconds, from your business number.
Step 3
You get the lead
An alert lands on your phone with who called and what they replied.
Step 4
Follow-up runs
A short follow up sequence keeps working the lead until it books.
What happens when a call to my HVAC shop is missed?
When nobody picks up because your crew is on a job, the missed call triggers an automatic text back to the caller. The message goes out from your business number, so it reads as your shop reaching out. The caller gets a reply instead of an empty voicemail box, and you keep the lead while it is still warm.
How fast does the text go out?
The caller gets the text back within seconds of the missed call, from your business number. Speed matters because 82% of people call a competitor after a missed call (Quo, Small Business Callback Statistics). The text sends automatically, so it never depends on anyone in your shop being free.
How does the owner find out about the lead?
An alert lands on your phone with who called and what they replied. You see the lead as it happens and step in when you are free, instead of digging through a voicemail inbox later. The missed call text back with owner alerts is included in every package, starting with Starter.
How does follow-up run until the job is booked?
A short follow up sequence keeps working the lead until it books, so a caller who does not answer the first text does not simply go cold. On the Growth package that extends to follow up texts for unsold quotes and review requests after each job, so the system keeps working after the first reply.
What do the website and app add?
Every package includes a website and an iPhone app alongside the text back. Starter has a fully functional 5 page website and a beta iPhone app. Growth upgrades the app to a working first version with online booking and push notifications. Full Service adds custom design and a full iPhone app. The monthly care plan adds a weekly report.
Each week you see how many calls were missed, how many texts went out, how many people replied and which jobs booked. Compare the three builds on the pricing page.
What does onboarding look like?
Onboarding takes four steps: book a 20 minute call, see your missed call math, get a written proposal the same day, then sign, build and launch. You pay a 50% deposit to start and the remaining 50% when you go live. Delivery is 4 weeks for Starter, 5 to 6 weeks for Growth and 6 to 8 weeks for Full Service.
